As if Camaro wasn’t already a storied legend, ZL1 takes the legacy to heart-pumping heights as the most powerful Camaro than ever before. Its a wealth of performance enhancements and also modern technologies. Not to mention bold new rear styling to make this sports car equally at home on the road, track or drag strip. In fact, you might say it was built to inspire the competition to achieve greater as a result.

• Supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 offering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft of torque
• Standard RECARO performance seats coupled with sueded microfibre inserts and bolsters.  This is thereby designed to help reduce arm interference during quick shifts
• Available 10-speed paddle-shift automatic. Beyond what you would expect ordinarily, delivering nearly instantaneous shifts for maximum performance
• Standard Magnetic Ride Control™, eLSD (Coupe models only), and Brembo® brakes to particularly optimise handling and control
• Massive upper and lower grille openings allow maximum cooling
• Carbon-fibre composite hood air extractor. Namely this moves air from the engine compartment to help decrease lift
• A three-stanchion spoiler increases down force as a result.
• Aggressive front splitter and rocker mouldings to thereby complete this sophisticated aero package

BRAKES

Large Brembo® 390 mm x 36 mm 6-piston front together with 365 mm x 28 mm 4-piston rear rotors give ZL1 precise braking and improved stopping distance while resisting fade.

MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL™

Standard Magnetic Ride Control™ technology reads the road and changes damping in just 10 to 15 milliseconds. As you plunge into a corner, a charge hits the patented suspension fluid, as a result stiffening the suspension and reducing body roll instantaneously.

eLSD

Integrated with the Performance Traction Management system, eLSD (Coupe models only) helps you achieve quicker lap times by providing high-speed stability, optimising “turn in” response and corner exit speeds.

Custom launch controls

ZL1 includes Custom Launch Control that modifies engine torque for optimised acceleration off the line. Its Line Lock feature lets you lock the front wheels to enable the rear wheels to spin, warming the tires for maximum grip at the drag strip. This feature is intended for use during closed course race events.
