WARNING – This is a ”full conversion”, not a cheaper cross shaft conversion, often advertised as a factory front end, or the conversion that goes un-noticed. Our Vehicles are the Real Deal. The Best Quality. At the Best possible price. You won’t find anywhere else selling them like we do.
Beware of Other Right-Hand Conversions
Drive comfortable without the worry of a sketchy drivetrain conversion on your mind. Our right hand drive vehicle conversions are what’s known as a ‘full conversion’. This means that the steering box has been completely relocated and rewired to the right hand side during the conversion process. This runs counter to what a lot of other companies in the industry do, in which the actual drive train remains on the left side and an additional gearbox and cross-shaft is used to transfer the movement of the steering wheel across the width of the car. This can result in a lower quality drive, inconsistent wheel resistance and an increased turning circle. This conversion process is known as South-Paw Conversion (SPC) or Cross Shaft Conversion (CSC), and is not recommended by the Australian Government’s Department of Infrastructure, which should give you an idea of the quality this conversion provides. Other companies do this because it is far cheaper and easier to accomplish, but results in a conversion of less than spectacular quality, which is something we find unacceptable. You’ll find our converted vehicles to be “second to none” within the industry, as they are converted with excellent quality and attention to detail. You can be ensured of an unmatched factory quality conversion when buying vehicles with us.
