NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER–Lift and Levelling Kits
Not all lift kits are legal to install on your vehicle. It is the customers’ responsibility to check regulations pertaining to their vehicle and warranty coverage, prior to purchasing and the installation of all lift and levelling kits.
Lift and levelling kits may interfere with vehicle functions including but not limited to stability control, auto levelling functions and chassis clearance issues.
The bigger the lift or levelling kit that is fitted increases the chances of the factory CV joints and ball joints wearing out prematurely. High articulation CV joints are available to minimize this issue if required.
In certain circumstances the factory inner CV joint boots may slip off the end of the shaft due to the change in the angle after a front lift has been fitted. In most circumstances fitting an improved CV boot clamp to the CV boot will assist with this matter.
Ball joints on the upper control arms need to be lubricated after installation and re-greased at each service interval. Without adequate grease they will wear out prematurely and will need to be replaced. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the ball joints are always kept greased.
It is paramount that all lift kit components that have been installed, be re-torqued after the first 100 kms to adjust for any settling of the suspension components; then rechecked at each service interval to ensure that everything is correctly torqued. This is the customers responsibility as loose components can cause damage to your vehicle.
It is suggested that the customer does their own research prior to purchasing and requesting the installation of lift and levelling kits to their vehicle.
