Minimum towing weight for hitch to work = 140kg
Maximum towing weight = 4000kg
Ideal tongue weight = 140kg-350kg
Maximum rated tongue weight = 400kg
Hitch weight = 28kg
Torsion hitches necessitate an initial towing period of several hundred kilometers with a load to properly calibrate the torsion rubbers for optimal flexibility. During assembly, we freeze the torsion rubbers to ensure they fit snugly into the housing. This initial towing period is crucial for allowing the rubbers to settle and begin operating as designed.
Please note, there may be a 5mm tolerance in the positioning of locating pin holes. As such, measurements across all hitches may vary slightly.
